“Community is the shared journey
towards home within myself”

Focus of this fall week
Authentic expression / communication / movement / being in relationship

The intensive week in community building is a composition of various communication techniques that have been developed for groups and individuals and are used regularly in the Glarisegg Castle community.

This week focuses on your own personal experiences, gifts and challenges that you receive when you engage in honest encounters with a group of people.

In this process of letting yourself in, you will practise classic communication techniques together in the group, which can be used to consciously shape processes in groups without a leader.

The following methods are presented and practiced.

Scott Peck, ZEGG Forum, Authentic Communication and Possibility Management

We will also be in silence together, which supports the inner alignment and integration of the experiences.

These elements and experience spaces promote your individual social skills and expand your team and community skills. The focus when using these tools is on strengthening your own inner resources and consciously experiencing and using feelings and body perceptions. Your ability to communicate honestly and directly is strengthened and your senses for empathic perception of other people are refined.

Two or three long-standing members of the Glarisegg Castle community will accompany you through this week. The group size is 10-20 participants.

Every day we work for three hours – preferably outdoors – on a joint design or renovation project and can experience how unifying it is to work and do things together.

In addition to this active, creative interaction, the daily singing together and the wonderful natural surroundings with the forest and lake also support the group process.

First and foremost, this week is about your own individual process within the small community of participants. If you are more deeply interested, the intensive week is also an opportunity to find out whether Glarisegg Castle can offer you a life perspective as a community project.

This week is a basic prerequisite for further rapprochement in the community.

Info for parents

Based on many years of experience, it makes sense for parents to give themselves the time for this intensive community-building experience without children, so that a deep immersion in this wealth of experience is possible. It has nothing to do with the fact that children are not wanted in the community itself, quite the opposite, but it is always apparent that mothers and fathers who allow themselves the space for this week without their children are very grateful for the otherwise so rare individual time and can experience and appreciate the journey together in a different way.

It is always possible to come with an accompanying person who will look after your children during the week.

The accommodation and catering costs correspond to the normal seminar house prices, which can be found on the homepage.
