Support for communities, housing projects and cooperatives
Living together takes social competence
You came together with a vision: to live differently, feel connected and bring something into the world together. Yet perhaps your meetings now circle around the same conflicts. Some people fight, others withdraw. Responsibility falls to a few. A painful gap opens between what you set out to create and everyday life.

At this point, a question may arise: Do we still want to continue together at all? And if so, what are we ourselves willing to change?
I support you in facing these questions, looking at tensions and developing your garden of social competence. This includes a willingness to take radical responsibility for your own impact and contribution to the community.
Where I can support you
- You want to review or renew your shared direction.
- You are looking for long-term support for your community.
- You want to develop greater responsibility within the group.
- People are joining or leaving, and your community is changing.
- Conflict and polarisation consume energy and make shared decisions difficult.
- Tasks, roles or expectations are unclear or unevenly distributed.
- You want a helpful way to work with feedback and social tools.
- You want to develop social competence continuously, before tensions arise.
Becoming able to work together again
Sometimes the important questions have long been known, but the group can barely work on them together. What is needed first is trust, clarification and space for what has remained unspoken.
I facilitate this process and support you in making different perspectives heard. This can create the conditions for you to return, as equals, to your shared direction, agreements and next step.
A suitable path of support
Understanding your situation: We clarify the context, development questions, willingness and mandate with the people responsible, and agree how the group will be involved. A kick-off day offers a shared starting point: you experience my way of working, we get to know one another and explore whether we want to continue together.
Working together: An intensive period, workshops or a series of sessions creates space for clarification and development. The process follows your situation.
Integration: You develop practices and agreements you can sustain yourselves in everyday life. We clarify responsibilities and a suitable time to review our work together.
Further learning: Where useful, trainings or the masterclass can provide additional support for individual members. Responsibility for the shared development remains with the community.
My approach
I work with your willingness to examine yourselves and your relationships. Social tools are intended to support understanding and personal responsibility. Decisions about direction, belonging and living together remain yours.
Radical responsibility in everyday community life
Here, radical responsibility means examining your own possibilities for action, even where your attention initially focuses on other people’s behaviour: What am I doing or leaving undone? Which expectations have I not expressed? Where do I help sustain a conflict through attack, withdrawal or silence? Which boundary, request or agreement is needed now?
This leads to concrete steps: acknowledging your impact, expressing feelings and needs, holding boundaries, reviewing commitments and changing your contribution.
Responsibility has different scopes. Those with more influence or decision-making power carry corresponding responsibility. Other people remain responsible for their actions. Setting a boundary, seeking support or leaving a community can also be a responsible decision.
For boards and umbrella organisations
Housing cooperatives and umbrella cooperatives can also actively support the capacity for social development. Together, we can explore what support their projects need and how this can strengthen each group’s autonomy.

“She supported our personal responsibility and clarity without trying to coach the community towards a particular destination.”
“Her support has taken us to a new level as a community. It shows us new paths and gives us the courage to take them.”
